Refunds and cancellation
Short version: you can cancel before work starts and get your deposit back, less a small admin fee. Once work has started, the deposit pays for work already done. Hosting cancels on 30 days' notice.
Styver Solutions (Pty) Ltd, registration no. 2026/459872/07. Last updated 11 October 2026.
Before work starts
If you cancel after accepting a quote but before we have started work, we refund your deposit in full, less an admin fee of R250 for the scoping we did.
After work starts
- The 50% deposit is not refundable once work has started. It pays for scoping, design and the work done so far.
- If the work we have done is worth more than the deposit, we invoice the difference at R800 an hour, up to the stage the project reached. We send you the breakdown.
- If the work we have done is worth less than the deposit, we refund the difference.
- We hand over the work completed and paid for.
If we do not deliver what we promised
If delivered work does not match the written quote, we fix it first at no charge. If we cannot fix it, we refund the part you paid for the scope we did not deliver. We do not refund work that was delivered and works as quoted.
Changing your mind about the design
Two revision rounds are included. Wanting a different design after the agreed work is done is a new piece of work, not a refund, and is billed at R800 an hour.
Hosting and support plans
- Plans are billed monthly in advance, by card subscription or EFT, and run month to month.
- Cancel any time with 30 days' notice by emailing hello@styver.co. The plan ends at the end of the month you have paid for, and card subscriptions are cancelled so you are not charged again.
- We do not refund part of a month that has already started.
- On cancellation we give you your site files on request.
How to ask for a refund
Email hello@styver.co with your name, the project and the reason. We reply within two business days. Approved refunds are paid to the account or card you paid from within 10 business days. Card refunds can take a few more days to show on your statement.
